Tax included. Free Shipping on Prepaid Orders

An active vitamin B complex: all eight B vitamins, with B6, B9 and B12 in the forms your body uses directly, so there’s no conversion step. Plus myo-inositol and choline in the same capsule.
At a glance
What it is: A vitamin B complex capsule with all eight B vitamins, plus myo-inositol and choline. B vitamins dissolve in water and aren’t stored for long, so they need to come from food or a supplement regularly.
What’s in a capsule: 100% RDA of each B vitamin, with methylcobalamin (B12), Quatrefolic® methylfolate (B9) and P5P (B6) in their active forms. Plus 100mg myo-inositol and 100mg phosphatidylcholine from sunflower lecithin.
What it supports: Energy metabolism, the nervous system, and healthy hair, skin and nails.
How to take it: 1 capsule after a meal, up to 3 times a day. One bottle lasts 90 days at one a day, about ₹17 a day.
Check with your doctor first if you are pregnant, trying to conceive or breastfeeding, have a medical condition, or take regular medication.
Vegetarian capsules. Soy-free. No folic acid, no cyanocobalamin.
Why this formula is different
Active B12, folate and B6, not the cheaper forms
Most B complex tablets use folic acid and cyanocobalamin because they’re cheap and stable, and your body has to convert both before it can use them. We pay more for methylcobalamin, methylfolate and active B6, the forms your cells use directly, and it’s the main reason an active B complex costs more than a standard one.
The science: active vs standard B vitamins ▾
| Vitamin | Common form | Form in this formula | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|---|
| B6 | Pyridoxine HCl | Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate (P5P) | The coenzyme form, with no liver conversion step |
| B9 | Folic acid | Quatrefolic® (6S)-5-MTHF | The folate form that circulates in the blood |
| B12 | Cyanocobalamin | Methylcobalamin | An active coenzyme form of B12, used directly in methylation |
Folic acid is a synthetic form of folate. Before the body can use it, it goes through several enzyme steps, the last of which depends on the MTHFR enzyme, to become 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF). Methylfolate is 5-MTHF already, so it skips those steps. Cyanocobalamin is likewise converted into methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin, the two forms of B12 the body uses.
About Quatrefolic®: a patented (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolate glucosamine salt from Gnosis by Lesaffre. It is a stable, water-soluble form of L-methylfolate with published bioavailability data, which is why we chose it over unbranded methylfolate.
The other five B vitamins, thiamine (B1), riboflavin (B2), nicotinamide (B3), pantothenate (B5) and D-biotin (B7), are used in their standard, well-absorbed forms, each at 100% RDA.
Myo-inositol and choline in the same capsule
Two nutrients you’d usually buy as separate bottles, built into the same capsule: 100mg of myo-inositol, a B-vitamin relative, and 100mg of phosphatidylcholine from sunflower lecithin, not soy.
The science: inositol and phosphatidylcholine ▾
Myo-Inositol - 100mg
Myo-inositol is sometimes called vitamin B8, though it isn’t officially an essential vitamin. It acts as a messenger inside cells, including in insulin and hormone signalling, and supports normal glucose metabolism. Practitioners often use it alongside active B vitamins, so we put both in one capsule.
Phosphatidylcholine - 100mg (from sunflower lecithin)
Phosphatidylcholine is a source of choline, which the body uses to build cell membranes, to make acetylcholine (a neurotransmitter), and in normal liver fat metabolism. We use sunflower lecithin rather than soy, so the formula is suitable for anyone avoiding soy.
What vitamin B complex is used for
- Energy from food: all eight B vitamins help convert carbohydrates, fats and protein into usable energy
- Nervous system: B1, B6 and B12 support normal nerve function
- Red blood cells: folate and B12 are needed to form them normally
- Hair, skin and nails: biotin (B7), riboflavin (B2) and niacin (B3) support their normal maintenance
The science: what each B vitamin does ▾
Energy metabolism
- B1, B2, B3, B5 and B7 act as coenzymes in the pathways that turn food into ATP, the cell’s energy currency
- B5 is part of coenzyme A, central to fat and carbohydrate metabolism
Nervous system and mental performance
- B6, B9 and B12 are cofactors in making neurotransmitters, including serotonin, dopamine and norepinephrine
- Methylcobalamin and methylfolate work together in methylation, a process the body uses to make and recycle many compounds, including homocysteine to methionine
Blood
- Folate and B12 are both needed for normal red blood cell formation
Hair, skin and nails
- D-biotin is a cofactor for enzymes involved in keratin production
- Riboflavin and niacin support normal skin
What isn’t in it
No folic acid. No cyanocobalamin. No magnesium stearate. No silicon dioxide. No titanium dioxide. No artificial colours. No synthetic preservatives.
Preserved with rosemary extract, which protects the B vitamins from oxidation during shelf life without synthetic antioxidants. The capsule shell is 100% HPMC, so it’s vegetarian and gelatin-free. GMP certified. Third-party lab tested.
How to use
Take 1 B complex capsule after a meal, up to 3 times a day, or as advised by your healthcare practitioner. If you’re new to active B vitamins, start with 1 a day. The body doesn’t store most B vitamins for long, so they work best as a daily habit rather than an occasional top-up. Don’t be surprised by bright yellow urine: that’s riboflavin (B2), and it’s normal.
More on dosing, side effects and other supplements ▾
Starting out: begin with 1 capsule a day and increase over a week if your practitioner advises more. At higher doses some people notice vivid dreams or a warm flush from niacin; both usually settle within a few days. Taking it with food reduces the chance of nausea.
How long to take it: give any B complex at least 2–3 months of consistent daily use before judging whether it suits you. Many people keep it as a long-term part of their routine. More on timing.
Pregnancy and trying to conceive: the folate here is methylfolate rather than folic acid, but needs vary, and you may already be on a prenatal, so check with your doctor first. B vitamins in pregnancy.
Can be taken alongside: iThrive Magnesium Bisglycinate (magnesium is a cofactor in activating several B vitamins), iThrive Vitamin D3+K2, and iThrive Marine Omega-3.
Practitioner’s Note
![]() "Two decisions set this formula apart: the folate we chose and the addition of myo-inositol. For folate, we use Quatrefolic®, the patented (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolate from Gnosis, rather than folic acid or unbranded methylfolate, because of its stability and the bioavailability data behind it. Myo-inositol is usually bought as a separate supplement at well over ₹1,000 a bottle. Practitioners tend to use it alongside active B vitamins, so putting them in one capsule reflects how they’re actually used. Phosphatidylcholine from sunflower lecithin completes it, for cell membranes and normal liver fat metabolism."
