2. Kit Dispatch

After your order is placed, we will send the saliva sample collection test kit to your address. The kit is usually delivered within 3–4 days of placing the order, although the delivery timeline may vary depending on your pincode.
This kit is being dispatched from our Pune office.

The kit includes:
An instruction manual
Sample collection swab
Sample collection vial
Padded Envelope for keeping the vial
Zip-lock bag for keeping the vial.

3. Instructions from the iThrive Team

Once the iThrive team receives your order, they will contact you and share the sample collection and shipping instructions.

4. Sample Collection : 

After reading and understanding the complete test instructions, you can collect the saliva sample on a mutually agreed fixed date with the iThrive team.The sample collection is a very easy process and can be done easily at home by yourself.

Registering the test kit and creating a Self-Decode account : 

You will need to register your Self Decode kit by going to the Self Decode website and entering the barcode number mentioned.Also simultaneously you will need to create a Self decode Dashboard account. 

5. Shipping the Sample to Pune/ to iThrive office : 

Once the sample has been collected, you must courier it from your city or town to the iThrive office in Pune using fast delivery.
Yes, you will need to courier the collected sample through Blue Dart or any other fast courier service to iThrive’s Pune office.
Before collecting the sample, please locate a Blue Dart courier office or any other professional courier service near your home.
You may search online for nearby courier offices and confirm whether they offer express courier service.

6. Importance of Timely Delivery to Pune

Thankfully, the saliva sample is stable for weeks after collection, but we still recommend shipping your sample as soon as possible to our Pune office. 

Please note: If you live in a tier 3 city or a remote village, you may face delays in sending the sample to Pune. In such cases, you may temporarily go to a location where a faster courier service is available.

7. Dispatch from Pune to the Self-Decode Europe Lab

Once the iThrive team receives your sample at their Pune office, they will immediately dispatch it to the Self-Decode lab in Europe via FedEx or another suitable international courier service, as required.

8. Tracking Details
After the sample has been dispatched from the iThrive office to the Europe lab, the iThrive team will share the tracking number with you.

9. Sample Acceptance and Reporting Timeline : 
Once the sample has been received and accepted by the lab, the iThrive team will inform you. After acceptance, the report generation process usually takes about 2–3 weeks.

10. Report Delivery : 
The report, once generated, is visible on your Self Decode Dashboard.

Dashboard Access limit : You will only have 1 year of access to your Self Decode dashboard. If you want to later extend your access, you will have to pay an additional price for it.

11. Shipping Charges : 

The Blue Dart Express delivery charges for shipping the sample to our Pune office from your home are approximately Rs. 550/- These charges are not included in the test cost and you will have to pay these charges directly to Blue Dart.
The international Fedex shipping charges from the iThrive Pune office to the Self-Decode Europe lab are included in the test price.

For International Customers : 
If you order the kit from another country, the shipping charges for the kit will be extra and the entire test cost may be different.So you may speak with the team before purchasing the test for guidance and clarification.

Once the sample is collected, you may need to arrange the return courier to the Europe lab yourself, depending on your location and shipping arrangement.

1. Responsibility for Timely Dispatch to Pune

After you send your sample to our Pune office via express courier, it is your responsibility to ensure that the package reaches Pune within 2-3 days of collection. Please select your courier date accordingly. We should not receive the package on Saturday or Sunday.

2. Courier Delays and Responsibility

From iThrive’s end, we make every effort to send the sample as quickly as possible after receiving it, and we also attach all required and updated shipping paperwork.

However, despite these measures, delays may still occur on the courier’s or Fedex’s side. Therefore, the iThrive team will not be responsible for any delays or the sample getting lost during transit caused by the courier services.

3. Charges for Re-sending the Sample

In case sample gets lost during transit, or you misplace the sample or you send the sample incorrectly, sample can get rejected.If the sample needs to be sent again, you will not have to pay the full test cost again.

You will only need to pay:

The courier charges for sending the sample from your city to Pune, and
the international Fedex shipping charges from Pune to the Self-Decode Europe lab.Which are between Rs.4000
These charges may vary depending on courier tariffs at the time of dispatch.

4.Replacement Kit Policy
If the sample is rejected, we will provide the replacement kit free of cost for the first time.

After that, for any further rejected sample or misplaced kit, you will need to pay for the replacement kit.

5.Reasons for Sample Rejection

The sample may also be rejected for the following reasons :

a) insufficient sample quantity collected by the patient
b) incorrect collection method
c) leakage due to improper sealing
d) failure to follow the collection instructions provided with the kit

6.Refund Policy

Once purchased, this test is 100% non-refundable.

No reason for a refund will be accepted.
